New Attendees
How do I preregister?
Preregistration opens July 1st. You will need to go to the TableTopEvents (TTE) page and create an account. Once you have an account you are able to preregister starting July 1st. From July 1st to December 31st, the preregistration price is $45. Beginning January 1st and until 1 month before the con, the preregistration price goes to $50. Beyond this date only on-site badges can be purchased for $60.
Where do I go once I’m here?
The main Con of the North Registration area is located in the Fireside Lounge, just to the right of the hotel front desk. The Registration Desk is Will-Call only. No packets will be sent out ahead or after of the convention. You can pick up your Preregistration packet during the Convention weekend at any time after 11:00 AM on Friday, and after 7:30 AM on Saturday or Sunday. Come here to pick up your preregistration packet, obtain on on-site badge, or if have any questions you can ask one of our volunteers that will be staffed in this area.
How do I register on site?
Follow the signs to the main registration area and one of our friendly volunteers will be happy to register you and get you set up with a badge. Then you must complete your registration at one of our computer kiosks before selecting event tickets.
How do I pick games pre & onsite?
All games are listed on TableTopEvents (TTE) with all relevant information. Log in your TTE account from your home computer, smart phone, or one of the computers in the registration area and choose your games all online.
How much does it cost to play games?
Aside from the initial cost of your registration, all games are no additional charge.
How can I volunteer?
Con of the North is run ENTIRELY by volunteers and we would love your help! The registration system has 2 hour time slots for volunteering. Simply choose which works with your schedule. If you have spare time during the Con stop by the Registration area and see if they would like an extra hand.
We also need hands to help with set-up on Thursday evening and take-down on Sunday evening. Please contact us at info@conofthenorth.org if you would like to volunteer before/after the con. Otherwise you can find a staff/volunteer after 6pm on Thursday during set-up and offer to help.
Engagement Roles
Player
Registering as a player gives the attendee the ability to select and play in hundreds of games that are available.

Game Master
Registering as a Game Master costs the same as a Player registration and gives the attendee the ability to participate in other games at the convention. In addition, GMs who are fully paid and have their games submitted before the initial submission deadline are eligible for a GM’s Premium: either a $5 discount on their registration price.
Volunteer
Con of the North is run ENTIRELY by volunteers and we would love your help! Please contact us at info@conofthenorth.org if you would like to volunteer before/after the con.
Otherwise during the con a volunteer shift is 2 hours, a volunteer will receive a special Volunteer Die that has the highest result possible on all of its sides. This can be used one time during the duration of the con (at the discretion of the Game Master).
After every 2 hour shift as a volunteer will also receive a token which can then be exchanged for a prize out of the Bucket of Fun.
Referee
Registering as a Referee is $2, but the only thing a Referee can do is run events. Referees cannot play in other convention games, nor do they receive any of the premiums that Judges receive.

Vendor Space applications for Con of the North 2025 are open from May 17 2024 until August 31 2024. All vendors who submitted applications will receive word of their acceptance status after the meeting on September 13th.
